1. Acceptance of Terms
By purchasing, accessing, or using any PR Document Support service offered by Edufy Canada Inc. ("Edufy," "we," "us," or "our"), including but not limited to Credential Assessment Support, Language Test Support, and PR Document Essentials (collectively, the "Services"), and by creating an account on our client portal at pr.goedufy.ca (the "Portal"), you ("client," "you") agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy set out below. If you do not agree to these terms, do not purchase or use the Services.
2. Description of Services
Edufy provides organizational, procedural, and administrative support to help clients prepare foundational documentation for Canadian permanent residence pathways, specifically:
- Credential Assessment Support — assistance navigating the Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) process with a designated organization (currently World Education Services (WES), the International Qualifications Assessment Service (IQAS), or the International Credential Assessment Service of Canada (ICAS))
- Language Test Support — assistance navigating registration and preparation for an approved language proficiency test (currently CELPIP-General, IELTS-General, or PTE Core)
- PR Document Essentials — a combined package including both of the above
These Services are educational, organizational, and administrative in nature only. Edufy is not a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC), paralegal, or lawyer, and does not provide legal advice, immigration advice, or representation of any kind. Nothing provided through the Services constitutes an assessment of your eligibility for any immigration program, a guarantee of any outcome, or a substitute for advice from a licensed immigration professional. For legal or immigration advice specific to your situation, you must consult a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC) or a licensed immigration lawyer. Edufy may, at your request, refer you to an RCIC through our Resources section, but Edufy is not responsible for the advice, conduct, fees, or outcomes of any independent RCIC or lawyer you choose to engage.
3. Client Responsibilities
You are solely responsible for:
- The accuracy, completeness, and truthfulness of all information, documents, and details you provide to Edufy or enter into any third-party account (including but not limited to your ECA organization or language test provider account)
- Carefully reviewing all application details, registration information, and submissions prepared with Edufy's assistance before they are finalized or submitted, including during any "Final Review" or equivalent step within the Portal
- Meeting any deadlines, fees, or requirements set by third-party organizations (ECA bodies, language test providers, IRCC, or any other government or private body)
- Maintaining the confidentiality and security of your own account credentials, both on the Portal and on any third-party site
Where the Portal requires you to check a box or otherwise confirm that you have reviewed submitted details for accuracy, this confirmation is final and cannot be undone once submitted.
4. Payment and No-Refund Policy
All Services are offered on a one-time payment basis unless otherwise stated at checkout. All sales are final. Payments made for any Service, including add-ons such as the optional live review session, are non-refundable once payment has been processed, regardless of whether you complete, partially complete, or do not use the Service. This applies whether the outcome of any related third-party process (ECA report, test results, IRCC decision) is favourable or unfavourable to you.
If you experience a technical issue preventing you from accessing a Service you've paid for, contact us at arno@goedufy.ca and we will work with you to resolve access issues — this does not constitute a right to a refund but reflects our commitment to ensuring you can use what you've paid for.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Edufy Canada Inc., its owners, employees, and contractors are not liable for:
- Any errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in information or documents you provide to us or submit yourself, whether or not reviewed by our team
- Any decision, delay, rejection, processing time, or outcome by a third-party organization, including but not limited to WES, IQAS, ICAS, Paragon Testing (CELPIP), British Council or IDP (IELTS), Pearson (PTE Core), or Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC)
- Any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage arising from your use of the Services, including lost time, lost opportunity, or financial loss
- Actions taken or not taken by you, or by any third party, based on recommendations, guidance, or materials provided through the Services
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from the Services is limited to the amount you paid for the specific Service giving rise to the claim.
6. Third-Party Services and Websites
The Services involve directing you to third-party websites (ECA organizations, language test providers, RCIC referrals) that are independent of Edufy. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, availability, terms of service, privacy practices, fees, or conduct of any third-party website or organization. Your use of any third-party website is governed by that organization's own terms and policies, not ours.
7. Optional Live Review Add-On
Where offered, the optional live co-browsing review session is a paid add-on ($25 CAD unless otherwise stated) subject to the same no-refund policy in Section 4. This session is a collaborative review only and does not constitute legal or immigration advice, and does not shift responsibility for accuracy of your application from you to Edufy.
8. Portal Account and Credential Handling
As part of certain Services, you may be asked to submit login credentials for a third-party account (e.g., your ECA organization or test provider account) to allow our team to assist with your registration or application draft.
- You provide these credentials voluntarily and at your own discretion.
- We recommend using a password unique to that account, which you have not used elsewhere.
- We will use submitted credentials solely for the purpose of the specific Service you've purchased, and will not use them for any unrelated purpose.
- You may be asked to change this password once our assistance with that stage is complete.
- Edufy is not responsible for any action taken by the third-party platform itself (including account flags, locks, or suspensions) as a result of login activity, though we take reasonable care to avoid triggering such issues.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Continued use of the Services or Portal after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Material changes will be communicated to active clients where reasonably possible.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles.
